Nordic Walking

It only takes a few footsteps in the mountains to put you in a good mood. This is because the simple act of walking at altitude is a great way to exercise, strengthening your muscles and freeing the mind, particularly when you use walking poles to help you keep a steady pace and ease the load on your joints.

This activity, which is very good for your health and produces better results compared with normal walking, is called Nordic Walking! It is an activity which everyone can do, from athletes to beginners, and it involves every muscle in the body, improving posture, reducing the load on your joints, and distributing the effort across all of your limbs.

The arm movements involve pushing with your arms and engage your hands, forearms, triceps, deltoids, pectorals, and dorsals, with the equivalent effort of exercising in the gym but with the huge advantage of being outdoors in the Italian Alps! Walking, with rhythm!
