Safety information

Read the rules

All of the pistes in the resort are properly marked with florescent poles that mark the left and right sides of the piste.

As required by the law, the marker poles, as well as matching the same colour of the piste’s assigned difficulty rating (blue for ‘easy’, red for ‘intermediate’, black for ‘difficult’), are also fitted with a florescent orange strip, the length of which indicates which side of the piste it delimits:

  •  long orange strip (> 80 cm) on the right,
  •  short orange strip (< 30 cm) on the left.

Information boards and notices

In addition to the signs installed along the pistes and at junctions, there are information boards at the bottom of each of the ski lifts displaying all relevant safety information and rules on the use of each lift. In addition to this, notices and information about the opening of the lifts and pistes are issued from time to time by San Domenico Ski depending on the conditions.

These notices are displayed at the ticket offices, the bottom stations of the lifts, and along the ski runs.

Users are required to read and comply with these regulations and/or guidelines before entering the ski resort and whilst using the resort, regardless of the activity.
Purchasing any lift pass or a single ticket for the ski lifts implies acceptance by the user of all of the regulations of use.

General Regulations

A copy of the general regulations is displayed at the ticket offices. As stipulated by the relevant legislation, off piste activities are carried out at the user’s full responsibility.

In such circumstances, users are advised to read the avalanche report issued by the recognised bodies and to follow the specific instructions issued by San Domenico Ski.
