San Domenico - Alpe Veglia

It is also the most convenient, as it starts in the centre of San Domenico. Take the ski lift to Alpe Ciamporino, from where the Sentiero dei Fiori or “Trail of Flowers” leads you along a panoramic route, high above the valley floor.

There are great views all the way until you reach Alpe Veglia, passing through the hamlet of La Balma with its beautiful traditional stone farm buildings. You can continue the walk, which is largely flat, in the Alpe Veglia and Devero Natural Park.
