Pizzo Diei Monte Cistella

On a clear day, the Pizzo Diei and Monte Cistella offer a superb vantage point for admiring the surrounding mountains.

This is a fairly demanding hike, across the lunar mountain landscape. The walk begins with a comfortable ride on the ski lift, before starting the adventure with the walk to Monte Cistella, via the Pizzo Diei.

And the views from the summit are just incredible! If you want to make this hike even more special, you can extend it by descending to Rifugio Crosta on Alpe Solcio and then back to San Domenico. In this case, remember that the walk will be more demanding
